here’s another call I made some time ago that most here could wrap their head around and that was Lithium demand was outstripping supply all of 2025 and therefore the spot prices of all lithia products are expected to rise starting with SC5-6 .
Most couldn’t understand how this ciulr happen because price wasn’t moving and I stated that this was because of the immense amount of stock piles that were in place but I pushed on citing several sources of April and Q4 being when signs will start I’ve been waiting to see quarterlies and then causght this this morning from PLS
A) 3rd month in a row of YOY growth by month for EV expansion globally with march at 29% increase on last year .
B) 68% growth YOY for the year 2025 from BESS
these numbers are outstanding and highlight that the stockpiles that they have are diminishing substantially it’s only a matter of time before SC6 spot starts moving back to $1200 USD - $1500 USD IMO , considering the performance of Q3 a second identical performance for Q4 should see outward price change and by the time we get to Q2 2025/26 we should be close to the quoted prices .
