Cheers, Z—nice of you to say, and it’s genuinely appreciated.
Obviously, this forum sees its fair share of clashing viewpoints, and yeah—it’s difficult for everyone to fully align. That’s to be expected.
That said, while some might say I stand alone in my faith, I don’t see it that way. I’ve found that @TheWayOfHoliness and @angusmcfangledang align with much of what I believe—I’d even say 90%+. So no, I’m not as much of an island as some make it out to be.
Of course, there are times we agree on certain topics—and that’s great—but let’s be real: there are definitely a few people here (usually not Christians) who debate and argue just for the sake of it, even quoting Scripture to defend their points when they don’t even believe in it. A bit ironic, really.
In truth, we’re all here to learn, share, and grow.
As for me—if something I share is seen as wrong in the moment, but later on, the truth comes to light and what I said ends up helping someone connect the dots—then it’s completely worth it to me. Because as followers of Yeshua, we’re called to sow seeds, to be a lesser light, and trust that the power of the Almighty waters those seeds and points people to the greater Light—our Lord and Savior, Yeshua.
