Our nickel "sulphide" is far to premium to use in steel - definitely batteries are the avenue to pursue, one would think.
It looks like the nickel phosphate batteries are becoming more popular for house batteries also, as they're far more stable /less likely to catch on fire..
Thats a slight concern, re future needs.
Regardless this asset Is worth hundreds of millions/billions in comparison to other assets that have sold that were sub par , low LOM.
We know nickel is required for the deep energy-storage element of a battery - but we need to be in the cheap EV/run of the mill vehicles = volume = cash !
Could be a constraint for supply which I'm not chuffed about.
