Let's hope so. Canada isn't that big of market but it's not great Optics. Australia does the same thing I imagine, always trying to negotiate the lowest possible price to reduce the amount of subsidy required to make the medication affordable for regular people. I think Americans are being screwed given they pay the most for drugs owned by US companies (and they pay more for healthcare per person than we do) - I think the insurers have a lot to answer for, not just drug companies. It is important to note here that we are providing treatments to rare diseases. I think a lot of the problem is Americans pay so much more for regular medications. I think rare diseases that affect smaller patient populations should retain a reasonable amount of pricing power.
