It might take the so called ' penny stock traders ' out of the picture , but if sentiment is still poor and a horizon of no change for the foreseeable future on spodumene and chemical prices , then this will definitely leave far more room for the stock to continue it decline from albeit a much higher post consolidation price....., and in the same manner it did with Galaxy Resources until pretty much its merger.

So in my view , they should simply not have proposed the merge at this time and sought other avenues to excite their individual markets. And even as an interested shareholder , I'm not going to spoon feed this BOD with ideas as I've given plenty of subtle hints already. Suffice to say , they could have in the best interest of both entities renegotiated the rather one sided offtake with Piedmont and then jointly undertaken a separate ' stay at home ' grass roots supply chain venture when it was available. That's all I'm gonna say right now. And they could still put this proposal on ice , and i'm personally and going to vote everything including the name change down with my holdings.

But just as night follows day , if they don't have something attractive to excite the market and increase their narrative around that , then post consolidation you can almost bank on it that this share price will continue to fall.
