How to Request Top 20 Register of LRV or any ASX stock.

A Top 20/40 shareholder list is very important for share traders. It is useful to know which major shareholders are selling, accumulating or standing pat on a stock you own. Any shareholder can request the shareholder list from an ASX listed stock and they MUST comply within 7 days.

Here is a template you can use to email [email protected]

Dear Company Secretary

I John Doe of 11 Antimony St, Armidale NSW 2350 as a shareholder of LRV, request a copy of the shareholder register of LRV for the purpose of:

eg Determining the trading of the major shareholders of LRV to assist in my trading of shares in LRV.

Reason given must be legitimate and not for:

• soliciting a donation from a member
• soliciting a member of a company as a stockbroker or sharebroker
• gathering information about the personal wealth of a member, or
• making an unsolicited offer to purchase financial products such as shares or units off-market

You may need to remind them a few times to send it out. Do not post the list they send you on a public forum like hotcopper. Everyone needs to request their own copy.
