I think BSL looked at shutting down front end and importing HRC.Now relining 6 BF .Lots of stakeholders influencing decisions. CEOs in the end make the big decisions, to earn their money. I am sure Kirby Adams would have shutdown , front end , imported HRC and focused on the value end re colorbond products. Globalisation , do what you are good at .Tough to compete against the Chinese on HRC.
