PP, I do appreciate your softer tone in this reply — and I agree with you on one point: atheism has often grown because of the hypocrisy and endless bickering between those who claim to follow Yeshua. But let’s be honest — one of the biggest contributors to that confusion is religious systems that teach doctrines of men over the simple and powerful truth of Scripture. That includes the RCC.
You keep insisting that I’m missing something vital by not partaking in your version of the “Eucharist.” But what you miss is this:
I do partake in the real Passover.
I do break bread and drink the cup — in remembrance of Yeshua, just as He instructed in Luke 22:19–20:
> “And when He had taken matzah and offered the bracha, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is My body, given for you. Do this in memory of Me.’ In the same way, He took the cup after the meal, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.’”
But I do not worship a piece of bread. That is not what Yeshua taught.
You say Yeshua is “physically found” in the bread and wine. That concept is not from Scripture — it’s straight out of RCC doctrine. In fact, it goes against what the Bible clearly tells us: that He is seated at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34), not inside a wafer crafted by human hands.
You mention the Road to Emmaus as proof of the Eucharist — but nowhere does it say that the bread became His literal flesh. Their eyes were opened in faith as they remembered Him. It was a moment of spiritual revelation, not physical transformation.
Let me ask you plainly — do you keep the entire Passover as Yeshua modeled?
Do you practice the washing of feet, as Yeshua commanded? (John 13:14–15)
Do you reflect on His one-time sacrifice as Hebrews 10:10–12 declares, or do you repeat it in ritual as though it were still needed?
You also keep avoiding this simple, direct question:
What tradition of man do I follow that is not found in Scripture?
I’ve asked this multiple times and received nothing in return but deflection. Meanwhile, I’ve laid out 29 RCC traditions that are nowhere in the Word — and you haven’t refuted a single one with Scripture.
The truth is, you are not following Yeshua alone — you’re following the system of Roman Catholicism, a system built on centuries of additions and contradictions to what He clearly taught.
And now you claim there is a massive shift toward Catholicism. Sure, some are turning that way — but what you're missing is that there is a global spiritual awakening happening across the board. People from all nations and backgrounds are opening their hearts to the Spirit of YHWH.
Tens of millions of Muslims are converting to faith in Yeshua. Countless atheists are finding truth in Scripture. Even many in Protestant churches are returning to biblical roots and shedding man-made tradition. So yes — God is working. But it’s not just within the RCC.
You do not hold exclusive rights to revival.
As for your claim that I follow “Protestant” ideas — again, this shows your refusal to engage with what is actually being said. Just because some of my beliefs align with what Protestants also say, does not make me one. In fact, many Protestant churches still follow Catholic-rooted doctrines. If a Protestant agrees with the RCC, does that make you a Protestant? Of course not.
I follow Yeshua, and I follow what is written. That’s it.
So please, let’s focus on Scripture. Yeshua warned clearly:
> “You set aside the word of God for your tradition… And you do many such things.”
— Mark 7:13
If your foundation cannot be backed by Scripture, then it is built on sand.
You keep saying the RCC is the one true Church — then prove it with the Word of God, not just historical councils or man-made interpretations.
And again, I ask in love:
What commandment of God have I laid aside for a tradition of man?
If you can’t answer that — maybe it’s time to humble yourself and consider that you’re the one being led by tradition.
