So while PH did say the words "not completely dead" - the context and tone is everything. I encourage everyone to watch see for yourself, rather than respond to the clickbait puff quote.
What was said He was asked about PL5 testing "what are you expecting to see and what are you hoping not to see?".
In response he said "Like I said Consistency. First off this stuff is already in testing and we can see that it's under test, and it's not completely dead. (Laugh). That's a good first step... But the first thing we are looking for is consistency in results and consistency in performance."
Interpretation It was is clear to me that it was a reassurance - he was answering the question he was asked and that this early in the process seeing that it could undergo testing is a good thing.
Anyone who had a good enough understanding of the company would know that statement was good news - he even said it "it's a good first step". That where they were up to at the time and it was working. PL3 had already failed at the equivalent stage.
Opinion: >If that statement is not reassuring to some then it is clear to me people don't have enough basic knowledge or understanding of what they are doing. >Not everyone is still talking about it / misunderstanding the outcomes of PL5. I think there's a bit of a mob mentality in here - people are quick to join the pile on without doing their own digging.
Take the time to put all the pieces together. It's all there and available over several years. If at this stage you really don't understand, then maybe not the stock for you.
