My guess is that it depends on where we place our emphasis.
Your emphasis is on the rules, such as the day of the week we should mark the Sabbath, the celebration of Jesus's birth etc
My emphasis is on what we do for humanity.
Maybe they think that my emphasis is more important than yours.

I believe that most the Jesus' teachings are spot on.
I have no reason to doubt the existence of Jesus and that he was crucified as described in the Bible.
What happened to Jesus after he was crucified?
I can't see how the Biblical narrative can be literally true.
I believe that much of Genesis is not to be taken literally.
I don't believe that there is sufficient evidence to believe in the existence of a God, but don't dismiss the possibility.
