And doesn't this indicate that no matter what, there are forces operating, be they 'manipulation' or not, that are preventing the BB from raising the SP? If we look back, pre-BB most of the expectation here was that it would be great because it would raise the SP and burn baby burn the shorters!
Didn't happen - the SP remains under constant selling pressure, despite the BB.
That said, I doubt the BB was intended to give the SP a fillip, at least I hope it wasn't, because that would have been quite naive. Hopefully the primary intention was to reduce the SOI, to assist keeping any hostile takeovers at bay. In that respect it is doing quite well.]
