Worthwhile comparing the gas prices achieved against the most recent MST Access research note dated 20 Feb 2025.
For the 20 cent valuation, they had forecast a gas price in FY25 of $8.50 and a FY26 as $8.93.
This quarter we had an average of $9.78, and a FY25 to date average of $8.57. Assuming we achieve similar average pricing in this quarter, we could expect the FY25 average price to be closer to $9/GJe. You could then extrapolate that to FY26 being well above $9.
