a volatile shareprice and an 18month downtrend resulting in a depressed valuation is obviously not good for shareholders or for the company. I for one, would like the company to do more to try and get on top of this, maybe they are and we just dont see it. Its admirable and essential that the company keeps focusing on execution but that alone currently seems insufficient to turn this around based on current market feedback. So do we all just suck it up for another 1, 3, 5 years?
I dont have the answers but at least I hope they have investigated some:
- Maybe new leaders? Nothing against Jon, he's doing a great job but again is he the right person to take the company from $1b to the next level? Do the investment community rate neu mgmt and how do they view home offices in the afr?
- maybe courting cornerstone investor(s)?
- Maybe different capital structure/liquidity change to thwart the bots?
- Maybe actively putting up the for sale sign more clearly? being more open with approaches?
- have they reviewed market messaging?
- have they explored why big investors arent jumping in?
- Does neu have a strategy to turn this around or is it head in sand, passive hope?
- Have neu consulted a market strategist?
- capital management plan now that ph3 costs are hopefully being better understood?
Maybe nothing will work apart from time and for neu to be carried in a sector upswing but worth asking the question and I hope neu is asking themselves this question.
neu is sitting on a bundle of cash, has a steady recurring revenue stream and enviable growth pipeline. Neu is in a fantastic position yet seems incapable at this present time on delivering a return.
btw comparing neu to imu and cu6 is nonsensical to me, both are far from revenue and have the threat of capital raises hanging over their heads, so I may not necessarily agree with their predicament, I can readily understand it. maybe neu should be more readily compared to a mini Telix and apart from the bump yesterday with fda, they've been on a ripping tear upwards. get neu some of that please Jon.
