I am seeing this with another tech company and the shareholders were very happy with management when all the technical milestones were being met on time. Start ups are full of technical ability and know their products well. The problem starts when adapting that technology into the market and the requirements change, some of which are not known until well into development and integration. It is a frustrating time for all as timeframes are never as smooth as they appeared at the start. These technologies are new and rapidly growing and changing as the parties get into capabilities and limitations being challenged by expectations, costs, timeframes and market conditions.
