I am invested in coal for two reasons:
1 In my young days my engineering career started in designing building and commissioning large coal fired electricity plant ...
2 Civilisation as is with huge growth in underdeveloped regions needs and will need lots of stable secure electricity
On the negative side for Australian coal are few major issues:
1 Politics, taxation and virtue signalling affecting mining
2 Competition from growing coal mining in major consumption growth countries
................ we will see what prevails and when
