I agree too that what you are saying occurs with 90% of capital raisings. There is always a sweetener! Although down here in Australia that is normally at the TIME of the actual cap raising, so as to:
a] encourage the buyers to participate at the time
b] get a higher price for the company
In terms of selling down the track, there are no ASX restrictions on subsequently selling those shares here, so I cant see the company "playing" with announcements for a few that might benefit.
Regardless, I hope those "good announcements" start coming sooner rather than later!
