Just re-watched the great long form interview with Paul and Frazis Capital Partners. I encourage others to watch again, or for newbies to watch, as there is a lot of great information in there and it also reinforces why we are supporting the company on their journey.
Interview was pre-FDA submission phase but post successful animal studies release in December 2024, so it’s great to watch it now that US FDA clearance has been achieved and many more other milestones have been ticked off in the short time since.
When Paul spoke about the board in place, he mentions:
- Kim Beazley: he will help with our U.S. defence grants — so potentially non-dilutive money coming in (hopefully he’s right onto this process) and broadly helping us getting into the military space.
- Dr Ravi Thadhani: a senior healthcare executive at Emory Healthcare, Emory University and Emory Health Services Centre. In particular, he is Vice Chair of the Emory Healthcare Board. My thoughts are that his position at Emory should allow us an easier way into the Emory hospitals and medical centres. I think watch this space, as I wouldn’t be surprised that he’s already speaking to his peers and teams at Emory about getting their hands on Remplir and how it would drive better client outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
