    A few calculations

bluegen 2kw max using 1.5 kw for comparitive purposes

bluegen $45000 for 1.5 KW output to give max efficiency

panasonic equivalent load of 1.5kw =

    2 units = $66000 running at 20% less efficiency!!!!
Higher Installation costs of 2 units instead of 1 aswell.

The one positive of the panasonic is the life of 5 years. Nothing mentioned about annual service requirements?????

CFU's stack seems much better value, and as mjshackl has hinted at, 750w is not alot of power, especially when you consider installation costs of the unit would be pretty much identical, irrespective of the power output.

As mentioned in the hydrogernal link provided, Panasonic have launched the new domestic fuel cell in association with Tokyo Gas. This is promising as it appears Tokyo Gas are embracing the technology.
As per the August announcement last year, Mitsui & Co. has ordered a BlueGen unit on behalf of Tokyo Gas. The BlueGen unit will be installed and demonstrated by Tokyo Gas at its testing laboratory in Tokyo.
We can only hope sales transpire in the future as a result of laboratory testing.
