In China,the building of railways is a major part of infrastructure development:especially in the next few years.In Colombia,a seven billion dollar project is planned,linking the Atlantic with the Pacific coast.The Chinese Development Bank is funding the project which will be run by the China Railway Group. The fortunes of Boulder will rely on the Chinese Government driving the project:no question about that.Right at this moment,the Chinese are weighing up the merits of the Gladstone project.If an Australian mill is not judged to be cost-effective,the Boulder project will collapse.One has to remember that the Chinese way of running steel mills is unique.I would suggest that the Chinese are trying to gain further concession from the Australian Government before they commit. Until such events have taken place,the SP will not move from 0.10:some people are making sure of that!One thing is certain,the project will not be completed by 2014.We all just have to 'hang there' I guess.
