Just curious - this is probably nothing new. The Mastercard and Visa card agreements of a few years ago are probably up for renewal, I'll be honest I can't be bothered going back and checking, but this would be my guess - sounds impressive but really just another go through the motions piece of what is already known but make it sound like some wonderful new deal is on the way.
Been here long enough now to see the pattern of hope v reality.
As always, hope I'm wrong but so far hasn't happened since I took my rose coloured glasses off. So much potential never close to being realised - latest example ~100 (note approximately, not an actual number) Swift Statement signups currently. Only 14900 to go to meet the target. Took 100 days to get 100 users but sure well get 14900 onboard in the 180 days - no problem.
