21-9-2009 FARMOUT DISCUSSIONS FAR has commenced discussions with other potential farmin partners now that restrictions under the Shell Agreement have been lifted. FAR has received a number of unsolicited approaches and these are in the process of being followed up. As was the case in the previous farmout round this process may take several months while companies undertake technical due diligence. Due to the commercially sensitive nature of the farmout process FAR will not ake any public release until such time as a binding agreement, if any, has been reached

24 September 2010. FAR requests entry to Second Renewal Period on Rufisque and
Sangomar Offshore and Sangomar Deep Offshore Senegal Blocks
FAR's renewal request is for a term of 3 years; is subject to Ministerial approval and
requires a Presidential Decree. The request is supported by Petrosen, the National Oil
Company of Senegal. During the week FAR held meetings with Petrosen and the
Minister who provided verbal support for FAR's renewal request.

18-10-2010 Ophir UK Release - FAR Agreement
Under the Agreement Ophir has the right to acquire a 25 percent interest in FAR?s Senegal
licence areas. The agreement is subject to a number of conditions including regulatory
approval by the relevant authorities being the AGC joint authority and the Republic of
Senegal.
