For me, a very significant statement in this announcement is "Hazer will be KBR’sexclusive methane pyrolysis technology provider." Which seems a pretty clear statement that KBR will not use any other methane pyrolysis technology! Given the large number of companies and technologies in this space, and especially when one of those companies, Monolith has billions of dollars invested in them, as opposed to the millions invested in Hazer - this is a pretty amazing outcome. You would struggle to find a more authoritative endorsement of the Hazer process.

I think we will see this unlock a great many doors for Hazer. All those companies and management who were too scared to adopt a new technology, and / or, just waiting until somebody else went first - like penguins that crowd together on the edge of the ice until one of them gets bumped into the water, well a big fat juicy one just willingly jumped in. This also creates a fear of missing out, in other industry sectors that use hydrogen. If Hazer sign exclusivity deals in a given industry, that could place the other companies in that industry at the disadvantage of having to license the tech from one of their competitors.
