This information below is from a Metgasco drilling report and an Oil and Gas prtesentation in May 2008.
I think the the Annvale#1 is near Riflebird-E14 which was drilled a bit deeper than Annvale#1
"Riflebird-E14 (PEL 16) was previously drilled to a TD of 1,369 metres and intersected approximately 400 metres of the Koukandowie formation with the Heifer Creek sandstone being the primary target. Results from wireline logging indicated a gross sandstone interval of 49 metres"
"RE-14 gas discovery Gas flows following the perforation and testing of three sandstone intervals in the Heifer Creek Sandstone Estimated cumulative net pay of between 9m and 15m"
Hopefully a budding geo can clarify the situation.
