The increasing short position and price appreciation are contrary and do not go hand-in-hand. The Short is at borderline nearing 6% with State Street added in share registry. Short still think they can push down price but SBB is key hinderance.
The long-term prospectus does not change with daily movement but it is still trading in Green for last 2 weeks so still demand for NEU.
