Santos waits on native title resolution which threatens Narrabri project progress 1 First Nations protestors rallied today at the New South Wales parliament in opposition to Santos' Narrabri Gas Project as an adjudication is expected this week on a native title application which could jeopardise the gas giant's plans. The Gomeroi people, who have never backed Santos' plans to drill about 850 coal seam gas wells in the Pilliga Forest and surrounding farmland – are calling for their right to free, prior and informed consent to be acknowledged and respected.
