Probably because no one thinks the business model will be able to produce profitably at the scale necessary for Jatropha to be integrated in global fuel supply system.
The transaction and coordination costs embedded in the Indian model are large, so even if Jatropha can be produced in huge volumes and low costs at the farm level, questions will remain about overall profitability.
I used to hold but got out for the above reason. Also because debt and speculative biofuels are dangerous mix, as I found out from experience with ARW, NFL and a few others.
