India and China and other parts of Asia aren't exactly wiping their coal plants off the map. Here's existing and planned coal plants.... Some massive "blobs" operating (red), in construction (blue) and in permission stage (green).
Demand for coal isn't exactly going to disappear. Coal prices won't stay in the doldrums forever.
