Most MSA diagnoses are made after death, but not in the future. MRI will be essential, and neuroradiologists will gradually learn to perform the needed measurements to make the right diagnosis. The prevalence of MSA will increase from the present numbers, as they are mostly based on the clinical picture.
A skin biopsy makes everybody understand that synucleinopathy is in every cell in the body when you have it. 434 is one tool to control the disease process, most likely also in PD and Lewy body disease.
