The fact that Kobold can basically come in and start mining without the need for discovery, cost and time is a big selling point for AVZ.

Rio's offer price of ~ AUD$10b for Arcadium gives some ball park indication of what AVZ may be worth - although not an apples for apples comparison given some resource was brine based and in different jurisdictions.

The strategic value to the US and West needs to be ascribed value, as does the value that the USA negotiations have brought to the table in finally unlocking this fiasco.

Felix's USD$10b frozen by the Swiss could come in handy also as part of the DRC governments contribution given they have been complicit in this shenanigans. He is rumoured to also squirrelled away money in Qatar etc. Others have overseas properties and may have to give them up and/or spend some time in jail.

One thing is for sure - the remaining journey will not be boring - and comments on HC will make no material difference to what eventuates.

Just curious what brought you to think AVZ and Arcadium are pear to pear, their values are not even close: Arcadium is combined by Galaxy, Orocobre Lithium and Livent, it's huge and producing. AVZ is only a mine with no facility even built.
