Todays trading saw a single 3.5m shares dump at 11:25am - after some incessant small similar parcel selling by same(?) participant but the buyers kept stepping up. I assume this was going counter to 'their' intention so they dumped to create some panic. It didnt happen! NO panic ensued ..in fact the buyers brushed it off and kept buying. Then the 8m order at 13¢ appeared in the last hour sometime and got nibbled slightly proving it was genuine and probably hoping that the Friday arvo before a China/US meeting in Switzerland this weekend might be too much uncertainty for some to bare and close out their positions to start Monday with a fistful of cash. Instead buyers stepped in towards close...
Expect the China/US outcome to underwhelm and just be the first of many drawn out but unproductive meetings after all Trump ultimately wants to decouple from China completely....
Regardless of that outcome, next targets most definitely still in play ..16/16.5¢ and then 21.5.... then 28 - 35 consolidation zone as the most likely scenario at this stage.
