EMG has watched the loss of CRN's valuation of $1.98B to around $277m now (loss of $1.7B). They are not going to blink at further losses which at worst will only be a fraction of past loss. Nor would Stanwell or the QLD govt spare any attention......until CRN is put into administration. The administrators would find it more easy to extract rebate/royalty concessions which would suit EMG fine as they can then (after concessions signed off) put in whatever funding needed to keep operations going. Also a chance of this fresh EMG investment coming from new equity at even lower share price than now.
