The immediate and long term issue is the price of spodumene, getting to higher grades requires time and money which is a finite resource. We're a bit snookered in that respect , development capex won't happen untill prices are firmer .
Its reasonable to assume they are well aware of this conundrum and dealing with it as best they can..
