1,104kms and $900k which to comes out at ~$815 per km of cable.
That to me seems insanely cheap if it includes all the IP that has gone into understanding any movement (so the R&D and software etc), installation (although not clear if Ava are responsible for this), and the actual fibre optic cable.
I fully appreciate that part of the selling point is a low cost option to cover 100s of kms, but I'd imagine that a lot of people would be thinking at that cost, how good could it possibly be.
