Yes, I agree with you that the release of the Ironbark scoping study will give Andrew Paterson something tangible to work with.
But I also agree with farty that we are overdue for a MRE update. AP has said they intended to do an MRE update last December but the bloke they were going to get to do the work went on holidays. Must have been long service leave as 6 months later and still nothing. AP has said any update would be just for Mulga Bill and not for the prospective area to the north of MB (I'm sure I heard him say it would be another two years before they do a maiden MRE for that new area).
The have not updated MB's MRE since 2023 which certainly gives the impression that they are treading water in that regard. They've had the Side Well block since July 2020 so they do need to pull fingers out to show they can make something worthwhile of it. By the way, it seems they still only have 80% ownership of SW as far as I can tell (so for them Ironbark is 80koz, not 100koz).
