Seems like NRW did the right thing? Can’t believe they wouldn’t have a case to sue the SA Govt but the law is the law I guess. Don’t understand how the Govt can just change the act to effect retrospective agreements in this case. It would seem reasonable to me the Govt would transfer the security to Onesteel assets and NRW would be high on the list of creditors under the Onesteel arrangement? Did the Govt think they might lose the Federal Court case? More water to flow but this is not great. Will be interesting how the market sees it. As with Gascoyne they may get some money back but it will be a hit ton the full year. GLTA
