recall risk is a real thing for some but not all holders... as each an every contract differs depending on who the interested parties are and the supply and access to stock to loan in the first instance....and of course depending on how good one's contract lawyers are the type of beneficiary relationship (if any) of the parties involved....which is one reason why for some traders the 'days to cover' are a very important part of short covering risk management....
