I'd say they're getting it cheap, for $158M, but then again we are at the bottom of the cycle.
Also, it's in Africa.
African plays normally get a massive discount/fraction of what takeovers based in Australia
do.
I wonder how much DRE's Yin and the Gifford Carbs would be worth based on PEK's $158M sale, especially with DRE's assets being in (Western) Australia.
Also, what's up with HAS next door - hopefully some good news after it comes out of the trading halt.
