This is a recent example of what STM is facing for non-compliance. This company lodged an urgent application with the Federal Court seeking relief from the 5 day rule. The court found the company acted honestly and there was no substantial injustice to shareholders who bought shares without the cleansing notice. The relief was granted by the court and resumed trading a few days later. As long as the company acted honestly and there was no substantial injustice, we should be fine.
