"Seven mining projects have already requested their adherence to the RIGI, but the government has not yet approved any of them. Five are for lithium production, one for gold, and one for copper. The first applied in October of last year and the last one in April. So far, the government has not issued a response. @econojournal contacted the Ministry of Mining @secmineria_arg to find out the reason for the delay, but did not receive a response. The sector agrees that the state lacks the human resources and capabilities to expedite the approval of the requests."
