Desperate measurers from desperate people, you only have to look at the hourly chart for both gold and silver.
They are fully aware of where traders, not investors, have their stop losses, and when they build up, they run them.
We just have to remember that its only paper, as you said, if you have the real stuff, whether its in coins or bars, just keep looking at it.
It's the same as it was yesterday and the day before, despite the paper price of whatever fiat currency your country of residence prints.
I don't lose any sleep at night knowing that no one can cheat me out of it.
