MLX haven't been paying tax in cash to date due to past losses, while they recognise tax expense on the P&L it runs down deferred tax assets on the balance sheet, not paid with cash, they were down to $8m odd of DTA at the end of CY24, so they will start paying tax soon, so just to be aware there will be more cash leakage. But this will generate franking credits, all the more reason to start a dividend program! See what today brings.
