I agree Pata. Due to Australian Gov substantial support of critical minerals - here in Australia - by Australia. I just can not see any international arriving to benefit greatly from Australian taxpayers support - Gov would not support such in my view - the critical minerals stockpile is to be leveraged to our advantage - why sell the show or part of with JV - I could be wrong.

HP have all the hallmarks of being the JV (and later more). She's been controlling this all the way - for this moment once all Gov support is locked in. I don't believe HP making an increased share holding at recent lows would bode well for substantial Aus Gov support - media would have made a mockery of Gov ARU support - now all that support is disclosed and locked in - well HELLO MUMMA - what a pertinent time to mention a JV - delays and more delays for this very moment (meantime get site ready and complete engineering efficiencies with HATCH) - back door sneak in with increased holding via a JV. Sounds fine to me - HP bring not only cash but - person to board - LSM experience - global sales contacts AND very importantly serious project delivery and ramp up demands/expectations -etc AND their Australian which would suit all parties - just don't think it would go down well an international partner.

How long are they going to drag this out? Well if it's HP it could be a little while - certainly possible in next 3-6 months. Enough cash until first quarter commentary suggests sometime in second half - latter! That would make it 3 years since HP arrived and Shenghe departed - crafted without an off market transfer! where it all started. Will they squeeze the SP yet again - well appears so as investbest stated they've put blocks in place - which they'll likely slide down using normal bot sell plays. Short position lowering whilst market awaits more disclosure regarding JV.
