Here is my take on this appointment
a) First and foremost:- NO NEED TO RAISE EQUITY - has been drilled into his brain from day 1 and he made sure he called that out in this announcement! Welcome to MinRes! mate - We already like you.
b) Second but not any less important:- In words of Nominations committee chair Zimi Meka:-
i.e The entrepreneurial founder is going to stay as now we have a "chairman" who know how to work with them. haha
Now we know why the 3 directors resigned in a hurry! Haha good riddance - as we need Chris to stay as there is no MinRes without him!
