Mark Paton
Chief Executive Officer
Mark Paton graduated from Leeds University in the United Kingdom in 1980 with a first class honours degree in Chemical Engineering. For the last 30 years he has worked in the upstream oil and gas industry. He joined BP in Aberdeen Scotland and worked as a Production Engineer and Commissioning Engineer on the major North Sea projects Forties and Magnus. In 1985 he moved to BP?s head office in London where he held positions as a Production Technologist. In 1986 Mark was transferred to The Hague in the Netherlands as Senior Commissioning Engineer for the Q/8 gas production platform and onshore gas terminal. In 1987 Mark was transferred by BP to Doha, Qatar as a Senior Planning Engineer where he was part of a team that was working on the early stages of planning for what was to be the largest gas field development in the world. In 1989 he migrated to Australia to work for BHP Petroleum in Darwin, Northern Territory as a Senior Completions Engineer responsible for the subsea well completions in the Challis, Jabiru, Skua and Griffin Fields. Mark remained with BHP in Darwin for nine years holding the positions of Well Services Supervisor, Production Superintendent, Production Manager and finally Timor Sea Operations Manager. In 1997 Mark left BHP Petroleum and founded an oil and gas service company called Upstream Petroleum with Cam Rathie AM which operated oil and gas production facilities for the owners under contract. Upstream Petroleum grew to over 400 employees with offices in Darwin, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne and was responsible for operating several major oil and gas installations including the Western Underground gas Storage facility and Patricia Baleen facilities onshore Victoria, The Cliff Head oil production facilities in Western Australia and the Basker/Manta field in the Bass Strait. In December 2006 the company was sold to the AGR Group of Norway for a headline price of $85 million. Mark continued to be employed by AGR as the Managing Director of their Kuala Lumpur based subsidiary AGR Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd until June 2009. Since this time Mark has been consulting to the oil and gas industry.

Very impressed,shouldn't be to long before we see him make some good investments with all the cash coming in.
I dont like seeing it sitting in the Bank.am glad Mark has choosen to work with Cue.
