Rio has already been in the data-room, they are very well aware of what Galan has.
IMO, there are three elements that they'd want over the line before they would act on Galan (two of which are already in place): 1/ Li Chloride export approval (done) 2/ Phase 2 approval (done) 3/ RIGI approval for Phase 2 (pending for many months)
Never ending discussion on here on what JP doesn't bring to the table - some criticism well founded, some a bit unfair. What doesn't get much air-time is what JP brings to the table in spades: capacity/credibility in getting stuff done with a tricky Argy administration - any suitor of high merit will understand this completely and will want to utilize the advantage of this before stepping into the breach.
