I'd have to go back and check my data but I believe this is the single largest daily increase (day to day) I have all the data going back a few years so I will double check that
The day immediately (15th) after this Goldman was the largest non retailer seller (#1 was CMC markets) selling roughly $421k~ net
In the last month Virtu ITG has been the largest buyer (even more than the SBB) who I have never heard of but apparently do algo trading below you can see them building a position. Just my speculation but perhaps they were betting on breaking through a resistence level. I did some digging and their primary income source is from market making. "Market Making principally consists of market making in the cash, futures and options markets across global equities, fixed income, currencies, cryptocurrencies, and commodities. As a market maker, the Company commits capital on a principal basis by offering to buy securities from, or sell securities to, broker dealers, banks and institutions"
