The mines excl. the debt is surely worth a lot, I am supposing $1.0bln+. Even if you repay the loan facilities, that leaves a lot of change for the equity holders.
What surprises me when we havent yet seen any takeover bids? This is an attractive opportunity (too good to be true) for any bidder given where the equity is trading.
Unless there is lot more to the story ...
