It would be stupid to pass up the opportunity of securing more prospective tenure in the United States. It locks out any potential competitors, while ensures ample feedstock, should the company build a smelter of their own (similar to UAMY, but theirs has an incredibly small capacity).
To secure long-term offtakes, you need to be able to show that you have ample feedstock. Why do you think the SPMP Antimony roaster in Oman closed? They couldn't secure enough antimony ore to process. The new appointment, Wiehann Kleynhans knows this all too well.
Clearly, Andre is trying to build a serious antimony player with a long-term outlook and there is no shortage of demand. I'll take whatever Antimony prospective tenements we can secure in the U.S, as the Pentagon is all too hungry for Antimony when their own strategic reserves have now fallen below 1000t.
