You'd be foolish to believe the biased reporting of the minewatch website.
I contacted the company about the post you refer to that went up most recently on their site. The response was that:
"the order at the last hearing said we could commission the pipe and other plant using ore and water (no chemicals). All they did was run the ore down the slurry pipe and out the DSTP ? it did not go through the plant."
They did nothing other than what they had been authorised to do by the court injunction!
Beware minewatch's obvious agenda and bias.
There are very thin grounds for panicking out of HIG when Ramu is totally no recourse to them in terms of spend and the whole mining industry in PNG will shut down indefinitely if DSTP is disallowed.
HIG is one of the great buying oportunities of all time if you look at the value of the resource upgrade at Frieda River, which has now been completely lost sight of in the noise created by the trial of the DSTP issue with Ramu.
