A small correction to my last post. The author of the article, Luke Cummings, works for Harvest Lane asset management and Cosette is funded by Hamilton Lane asset management. Notwithstanding, I maintain that this is a very well researched article and with a detailed knowledge of the issues involved, Harvest Lane even attended the court submission.
As Luke asserts in his article, this is a case of private equity behaving badly, and I also hope that Mayne Pharma stands its ground and not give anything away. A reduction in the offer price, is giving in to the bullies. This company is worth more than $7.40 and even if the offer falls over, the next two profit updates in August and November, will affirm that to shareholders.
Mr Chairman, you are already giving the company away for peanuts, don't be tempted to give it away for less. I'll be voting NO
